Hear the choir sing seasonal music by Byrd, Palestrina and more! Sing along to favourite carols like “Hark the Herald” and “Oh Come All ye Faithful” and many more.

This year, we are so honoured to be supporting Joyful Noise Dublin (https://www.instagram.com/joyfulnoisedublin), an inclusive community music project predominantly attended by young adults with an intellectual disability.

Join us on Thursday 20th of December in The Sugar Club in Dublin for a Yuletide Sing Along Social followed by a Chrimbo Craic Disco. We are beyond thrilled that Joyful Noise will be joining us on the night to perform a selection of their favourite songs for us.

Doors will open at 7.30pm and Joyful Noise will perform for us at 8.30pm. We’ll then kick off our Christmas Sing Along Social by 9pm and wind down with a Chrimbo Disco Finale at 11pm. Tickets are €12 (+ booking) and 100% of our proceeds after costs will be donated to Joyful Noise.

We first came across Joyful Noise when they performed before us at Body & Soul Festival earlier this year. We loved their energy and enthusiasm and joy, and we’re so excited that they’ll be kicking off our Christmas Craic Party with a live choir performance.

Joyful Noise rely on their fundraising capacity to be able to provide choir practice, music tuition and opportunities to perform. This community music project emerged out of WALK, based in Dublin 12, who support and empower people with disabilities to live self determined lives.

Joyful Noise require €2,400 to cover the core costs of running a 16 week programme, and we would love to raise those funds for them on Thursday 20th of December through your ticket fees and collections made on the night, to support their work next year.

It’s history and old world charm is unchanged and has led to many describing it as a wonderful hidden gem in Dublin City and “a real Dublin Institution” that will give you “a warm glow for the true meaning of Christmas”.

Winding your way down to the basement of this stunning Georgian building, you are greeted with a montage of many historical / fun stories, including Noah’s Ark, The Wise Men and many more, its scenes, competitions, an illusion wall and a little touch of magic are all sure to guarantee a fun day out for all the family!
Children are encouraged to draw and colour a Leaf, cut out the shape and bring it with them so that they can be placed in the Garden of Eden forever.

The Moving Crib, the mention of which always evokes a smile and fond memories of Dublin in the ‘rare auld times’ is the only one of its kind built in Ireland (if not the world); it is a historical and entertaining experience. This Dublin landmark is as captivating today as it was when it first opened its doors in 1956 and admission is still FREE.
