Wrap skirt & long cardigan
Its nearly hard to believe that last week was warm enough to be wearing something like this! Stems out, toes out…. sure, it was a little bloody heatwave!Needless to say, the sunshine was giving me major happy viiiiibes so its a tad disappointing that the sun has NOT got his hat on much since… then again, one day of glorious sunshine is more than we’ve had all summer some years so I guess I should be thankful!
I find long cardigans to be the perfect transitional weather piece as they are lighter than a jacket but still give warmth and coverage if you want brave the concept of bare skin but are still dubious about how ready you are.
I’m also digging the smaller handbags this season; its been a long time since I didn’t grab for the ‘hold all’ styles but the lighter bag is so less encumbering & forces you to de-clutter… which is never a bad thing in my eyes.
