The messages have been flooding in looking for suggestions on which restaurants to choose for upcoming work Christmas parties and, suggestions on things to do instead of (or as well as…) going out for a meal.
I decided I’d put proverbial pen to paper to come up with a definite list of Dublin eateries I think are best for Xmas parties for you guys but, if the demand for the alternative Christmas parties suggestions continue I may just get that list up on the blog for you too (I’m good like that, ya know?)
To make it even easier for you guys I’m going to section this list into places best for smaller parties and, places which can cater to a larger work force (to an extent of course!) so, whether you’re a group of 4 or 40 I’ll hopefully have you covered.
The price point of each restaurant will be marked with euro symbols, 3 being higher end, one being inexpensive so you’re able to pick a place to suit your group’s budget at a glance.
€€ For the foodie group. Perfect for intimate groups, fantastic food, impeccable service and a great selection of wine.
€-€€€ For the mixed group. This is a tapas bar which is great for groups of mixed hunger levels & dietary requirements.
€€ For the group who might be convinced to go out. Great Asian food and daaaangerously fun karaoke rooms downstairs.
€ For the laid back kind of work gang. Great food, platters and a fun atmosphere (excellent cocktails too)
€€ For the group who are open to trying something new. Delicious vegan food and BYO which is the perfect option for groups of drinkers and non-drinkers.
€€ Another one for the foodies. Delicious menu offerings in a beautiful setting.
€€ The crowd pleaser. A menu to suit every taste with a great atmosphere to boot.
€€ For the group that are out for a good time. Delicious Mexican food & plenty of drinks to choose from.
€ For the group of mixed ages. This spot if BYO so a great starting point to the night for some, they also have live belly dancing so could offer a night out in its self to other. Great comfort food.
€€ This little eaterie has a room upstairs to accommodate around 30 people, lovely atmosphere, great food and a fantastic wine selection… of course.
€ Another one for the mixed groups. This gorgeous spot is BYO too (which ya’ll know I think is the perfect choice for group dining!) they serve divine Indian food in a beautiful old building in Ballsbridge… again, whats not to love?!
€€ For the group of foodies. Castle Market street always feels very festive around Christmas so why not soak it up by having your party here?? Great food in a formal but relaxed setting.
€€ Another crowd pleaser with a menu to suit every palette. This spot has a gorgeous room at the front of the restaurant which caters to medium-sized parties, perfect for a Christmas party group.
€ For the group looking to hit the tiles. This spot serves delicious food with a strong Greek & Turkish influence, they’re BYO and, inexpensive meaning you’ve change left over for a pint or two after the meal.
€€€ For a group looking to indulge. You don’t have to go for Bang’s tasting menu but I would highly recommend that you do if your group’s budget allows for it. It’s a food experience you’ll never forget and for all the right reasons.
