My top picks of events happening in Dublin this week:

Monday

Event– Urban Dance class by Lucille Aires

Location- The Real Dance Studio, 40 North Lotts

Description- Different from the freestyle and battles scenes of Hip Hop, Urban Dance focus on choreography pieces. Each class will be a different scenario which will give students the chance to learn moves in various songs and learn/improve their skills during the class.

Lucille has been part of two Dance groups (H2O & Lenda Urbana) back in Brazil from 2013 to early 2015 before moving to Ireland. She taught Urban Dance in Dublin during 2017 but had to step back because of her studies. Last year she came back to scene with Dancehall classes and in the new year she wants to keep spreading the sense of community among dance lovers like she has been doing with her Dancehall students.
