My Top 10 Dublin BYO Restaurants

Food & Drink
Next Post Previous Post

BYO is a fantastic option for wine lovers, large groups or, dinner dates that have the potential to end with dancing.

With Dublin’s fantastic food scene it’s no surprise that we have many an epic restaurant that’ll serve you great food while pouring your own wine…. here are my 10 personal faves (in no particular order)-

1 Dada, South William street

Delicious hearty Moroccan food, a variety of seating options from intimate alcoves to banquet style tables for large groups.

2 Kerala Kitchen, Baggot street

Super tasty Indian fare served by some of the friendliest staff I’ve ever come across in a gorgeous Georgian building. From the front this little gem may look small but don’t let that deceive you… climb the stairs to enjoy your delicious food in a stunning dining room with big bright windows & beautiful decor.

3 The Vintage Kitchen, Poolbeg street

This spot is notoriously hard to get a booking in, they did pay heed to this & open a sister restaurant, The Little Kitchen serving the same menu & also BYO.

If you’re lucky enough to get a booking here you can expect to enjoy a beautiful 3-course meal in a great atmosphere. Take the later sitting if lingering over your chardonnay is sacred.

4 Zakura, Wexford Street

Fresh, tasty Japanese food, wide menu selection, lovely atmosphere, great little place.

5 Sova Vegan Butchers

Delicious, creative and progressive vegan menu, friendly setting and they’re dog friendly; what more could you want!

This place is epic for some many reasons but fundamentally the food tastes & looks great, its a great place to go with non-vegan friends to try something different and their set menu is brilliant value… winning all round!

6 Seagrass, Portobello

Great location, fresh seasonal menu offerings and a decent sized room downstairs which caters for groups giving you more privacy than sitting in an open plan restaurant

7 Musashi’s Capel street

An institution for Asian food lovers… this little gem specialises in sushi & noodle dishes; lots of beautiful food in a bustling setting.

8 Damascus Gate, Camden street

Fantastic Syrian & Lebanese restaurant offering delicious food, great sharing dishes and shisha pipes to finish (or start!) the night off.

I was here recently as the kick off spot for a night out with friends & we were really impressed; great service, tasty food, great price, friendly staff & a relaxed atmosphere.

The weekend's brunch choice did NOT disappoint So excited to share this month's food post with you guys I've some epic new spots to recommend... keep an eye on the blog early next week when all will be revealed If you're in need of inspiration before then just click the 'places to eat' tab on the blog & use the dropdown bar to section the options into breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner; with over 100 eateries now recommend it has everything you need for dining out in Dublin xx Thank you so much to @eavannabreen for getting me bikini ready with a course of @venusfreeze to break down the pockets of fat on my upper thigh- we really focused on those stubborn bumps that curve out from the back & I couldn't be happier with the results (I mean, those paper knickers 'before' photos?? The only way is up from that point ) An absolute pleasure to be in the hands of such a skilled woman ❤️ Is my body 'bikini ready' though? Well, this is my body IN a bikini so by that simple fact alone I'm going to state that yea, it is . Like most people, I go through phases of being body confident, working out less, eating more... but overall, despite rarely being the skinniest girl in the room I've always been very happy with my figure . Not only do I think it looks pretty decent, I'm also fortunate enough to have working arms, eyes, legs etc- as 'the sunscreen song' would say; it's the greatest instrument I'll ever own. Here's the thing though- the legs on this healthy body are what I used to walk into a store yesterday & return a delivery I'd gotten. Why? Because their largest size trousers didn't accommodate my size- a size 12 🤔-- I would've gotten an XL without issue but large was the biggest size those trousers came in; I was officially too big to shop there. I'm not sharing this because I was bothered- I could rationalise that this experience was utterly ridiculous and, completely reflected the brand's idiotic sizing, not my frame which is a perfectly healthy weight . I'm sharing because I know many women, perhaps not as self assured as I am, would walk away from that experience feeling like shit, believing they're 'frumpy', 'fat', 'unattractive' etc . So, today's public service announcement is to remind you that a clothing label doesn't define your worth, a clothing brand doesn't get to decide what you can & cannot wear and, a poorly sized item of clothing should never be the cause of your head being held a little less higher . #SlayOnLadies Thursday TreatWant to win a gorgeous afternoon tea in the @morrisondublin for yourself & 3 friends!?? ☕️ Click the link in my bio to enter on my Facebook page, winner named on Sunday- good luck everyone! xx Great afternoon spent getting to know more about @theclck in the beautiful setting of @wildedublin Shop my look with or click the link in my bio to see all the items on my Facebook page xx #liketkit

They didn't disappoint That's number 4 for this month's food post with more hopefully to come xx Absolutly loving my new balayage, cut & @greatlengths_ireland extensions from the deadly gals at @kellyleunghairdesign Literally can't remember the last time I was so happy with my hair (didn't realise how badly it needed to be cut until I got the chop ) If you're looking for a salon where you'll be listened to, have a great laugh and leave with a hairstyle you love this is your place x (This is my hair after curling AND pinning though if anyone has tips on how to keep a curl please let me know ❣️) Just finalised bookings for my first camping festival of the summer- one weekend, 10 friends... ☀️x
