Description

For the last 2 years & 3 months I lived in an apartment just off Dublin’s iconic Cork street. This period was to be the longest I’d settled anywhere in over a decade so, when the opportunity came to rent a house on the other side of the Liffey we welcomed the new venture with open arms, lugged all of our belonging into a van & headed north over the millennium bridge.

The house in question while having massive potential, was well in need of a facelift which was exciting & daunting in equal parts but my parents kindly leant a massive hand before they jetted out to Australia for 3 months to my sister who’s expecting her second child and, before we knew it a beautiful home had been created.

I’m so excited to show you guys the creative ways I’ve managed to store & display all my clothes & accessories in my room which’ll be happening this evening on Snapchat (username: icomeundone), you may also have noticed the Autumn tones creeping back into my wardrobe… a change which was gladly welcomed & helped along with the addition of this beautiful mustard pair of trainers from Gola.

As someone who practically lives in trainers I was delighted when Gola contacted me about styling a pair from their collection as part of their #whichgolaareyou campaign- the tone of this particular pair called out to me straight away as I’ve always been drawn to mustard shades (that & burnt orange… love these two colours!), I guess because these shades are synonymous with the 70’s boho era & I’ll forever be a lover of that fashion decade.

With enough white trainers to last me a lifetime I really wanted to add a pop of colour with this Gola choice while also making them wearable with the other shades in my wardrobe… I feel the mustard ties in really well with the generally muted palette of my clothes meaning they’re the perfect choice for me.

After this week the house will be finally finished & I can get stated on knowing my new area of Drumcondra… I’ve already stumbled upon so many shops & markets making me really excited for what’s to come with our time here. I’m planning on hitting the Drumcondra market this weekend before heading to a dog festival on Sunday (… yep!). I’ve already jointed a gym here, sourced a dressmakers, found some amazing looking cafes & looked into yoga classss so, plenty to explore from my new base.

Otherwise I have lots of exciting work coming up this side of 2017, both through the blog and in food photography which is something I’m hoping to expand on even more. Right now I create imagery for brand’s accounts whether it be food businesses, drinks brands or large food industries… something I want to continue doing on a bigger scale for the foreseeable future; the creative process involved with it is something I really enjoy.

Well, that’s my little life update guys & trainer collection update guys, really hope you liked this post xx
