Double Coated for the Dublin Flea

The ironic thing about this outfit is that every piece in it is at least 4 years old except for the jeans, which look the oldest, are new. I have been coveting a pair of distressed denims for a while now but knowing they are a bit of a fad I hadent wanted to spend major cash to get my hands on them, I had attempted to DIY a pair but none of my old jeans were skinny enough to work the look & I didnt want to go tearing up a new (more loved) pair… then I saw Jennifer Grace from native fox rocking these ASOS gems & voila… they were found.

This is what I wore on Sunday on my ideal day out… the Dublin flea market followed by a Sunday roast (and some wine ;)) with friends. I never miss the flea unless Im working (boooo!), there are always great bargains to be gotten & it’s a lovely chill day out… although, as someone who has gone religiously for years it can be hard to take how crowded it is these days especially when it affects your opportunity for the essential sit & mull over a coffee with the friends.

I have been wanting to go to the Sunday roast in the exchequer for a while now as I had heard great things about it… it didn’t disappoint, great meal & excellent value, well worth popping down but ya gotta book in advance. My life is complete with Sundays like this.. time spend eating & shopping with friends, what more could a gal want?

Shirt, wild child vintage. Camel coats, both Marks and Spencer, thrifted. Shoes, Topshop. Necklace, diva jewelry. Handbag, vintage Louis Vuitton.
